The University offers on-campus housing for guests of graduating seniors from Friday, May 17, through Monday, May 20. Families of each senior may reserve up to six (6) beds in campus residence halls. Single, double, triple, and suite-style rooms are available at a rate of $45.00 per person, per night. Bed linens and towels are included, although we do recommend bringing blankets and pillows for your own comfort.
Room assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to be timely in your request. Confirmation of room reservations will go out during the first week of May.
Due to limited space on campus, preferences for particular halls, facilities, and types of rooms are not guaranteed. Accommodations for guests with special needs can be made, although those spaces are also limited. Please be sure to list any specific requirements in your reservation form that might influence your placement.
To make a reservation, please visit: colgate.edu/commencementhousing or call the Office of Residential Life at 315-228-7367. The reservation page will open on February 1, 2019. Reservations and payment in full must be received no later than Friday, April 26, 2019.
For a full refund, cancellation requests must be made prior to Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
During commencement weekend, keys may be picked up by either the family or graduating senior on Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. or on Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Our office is open Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to allow for families to return keys.
