I write this afternoon as a follow up to President Casey’s message from earlier today. I understand that these historic decisions are impacting each of you in different ways. Even in these moments of uncertainty, I am confident in the connectedness of this community whether you are here on campus or further away from Hamilton. Colgate’s strength is our shared connection with one another. I also know that you have a million questions that need to be addressed. Please know we are working as quickly as possible to support you with answers.

You’re in my thoughts and I am deeply sorry that we are concluding the spring semester on-campus in this manner. I thank all of you for your patience and understanding as we work through these challenges together.
