Proctoring Center

Students and faculty may collaborate to make arrangements for test proctoring to meet testing accommodations documented through Colgate's Office of Academic Support and Disability Services.

Services for Students

Helping students find connections in their learning and to tap into the knowledge and resources at Colgate is one of the center's top priorities. Faculty and staff are critical in guiding students to continual improvements in the way they learn and conduct research.

CLTR connects students to opportunities and resources such as:
Instruction in learning strategies and study skills
In transitioning from high school to the college environment, building skills like the following is often the key to finding success:
  • Time management
  • organization
  • Effective studying

Peer tutoring
The center coordinates opportunities for students to connect with others in their area of study for additional learning opportunities.
Summer research and creative projects
The center coordinates the university's program for summer research and creative projects, connecting students and faculty members to collaborate on academic projects, papers, posters, exhibitions, and more. More about: summer research and creative projects

The center coordinates and supports a variety of CLTR Resources for Faculty.
