Colgate University continues to advance key initiatives within The Third-Century Plan even as it dedicates resources to unprecedented community health efforts in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amy Jurkowitz ’85, P’17 has built a life surrounded with passionate people. Coming to Colgate in 1981 as a women’s tennis team recruit, Amy noticed immediately that her enthusiasm for athletics was matched by her classmates. “Everybody at Colgate had a passion. That’s what inspired me the most,” she said.

Colgate has one of the strongest alumni networks among liberal arts universities. The University’s graduates are renowned for their loyalty and support. Now, that network has a new online community for professional growth and development: the Colgate Link.

The Colgate Fund strengthens every program on campus, making it an important resource for the first initiatives of the University’s Third-Century Plan. Read some of the ways Colgate Fund supporters made a difference on the hill this year.

In fiscal year 2019, 4,158 Presidents’ Club members contributed more than $39.5 million in support of the University and its students.

In 2017, 87 percent of all dollars raised by Colgate came from Presidents’ Club members, whose support is critical to the student experience and the future of the institution.
