Dining Locations

Whether you have an urge for an all-you-care-to-eat meal, a fresh-fruit smoothie, a vegan dish, brick-oven pizza, wrap sandwich or just a cup of coffee, Colgate's dining locations have what you want when you want it. Use this page to learn more.



Frank Dining Hall

Monday ~ Friday, 7:30 a.m. ~ 9:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 a.m. ~ 9:00 p.m.


Frank Dining Hall features a wide variety of fresh, local and organic food designed to satisfy the palette with food choices to rival your favorite restaurants. All this with the ability to enjoy “all you care to eat” dining! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served Monday through Friday. Brunch and dinner are served Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Guests not on a meal plan are welcome to use a Gate Card or cash.

The menus have been carefully planned to ensure variety as well as complete nutritional balance. Theme meals and holiday dinners also are held periodically. Enjoy a meal from one or all of our specialty stations:


Vegetarian/Vegan Station: Fresh, nutritious, vegetarian and vegan entrees are prepared at the station, using as many organic food products daily for lunch and dinner.

Pizza/sautee station: Create your own omlette from the sautee station at breakfast. We offer fresh vegetables, meats, and cheeses, and egg whites for the healthier option. Choose our delicious hand-tossed pizzas with fresh toppings or pasta with homemade marinara sauce daily for lunch; and at dinner this station becomes a sautee area offering ethnic dishes cooked at the station.
Grill Station: If you are looking for the all-American meal you can get it for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Breakfast, as an example, is freshly prepared pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and home-fries. Then we switch to freshly made classic or trendy hot sandwiches, usually accompanied by french fries for lunch and dinner.
Entrée Station: Try our innovative hot meal options. We offer a freshly prepared lunch and dinner paired with fresh vegetables and homemade side dishes. During brunch we make fluffy Belgian waffles and have many different toppings available.
Deli bar: Our well-stocked deli bar features many of your favorites. Create your own “dag-wood” or Panini from start to finish. Start with your favorite bread, roll or wrap, add freshly sliced deli meat and cheese or chicken salad; top it with crisp lettuce and tomato; and choose from our many condiments and you have created your sandwich.
Salad bar: Build a crisp salad with freshly cut lettuce, vegetables and toppings. When available from our purveyor we use organic and local products.
Soup station: Enjoy a homemade cup of soup from our soup station. We offer two soups made from scratch daily.



The Cutting Edge Bistro

Monday ~ Friday, 5:30 p.m. ~ 7:30 p.m.

The Cutting Edge Bistro is an innovative restaurant on campus, where culinary creations and show-stopping desserts, combined with a chic décor, makes on-campus dining elegant. Place your order on a touch-screen menu before you are seated by a host, a combination of servers and chefs in the open-air kitchen ensure your meal will be anything but ordinary. All this for just a swipe off your meal plan. Reservations are highly recommended. For reservations, call 315-228-7674.

If you do not have a meal plan a la carte pricing is available. Both Gate Cards and cash are accepted




The Cutting Edge Market to Go

Monday ~ Friday, 11:30 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m.

Colgate’s newest Meal Plan lunch alternative at The Cutting Edge Bistro. Convenient, packaged and ready to go products. This trendy program features high quality prepared foods that balance important student needs for convenience and speed.

The Coop (O'Connor Campus Center)

Monday ~ Friday, 8:00 a.m. ~ 1:30 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. ~ 1:30 a.m.

This unique a la carte facility is famous for its exhibition cooking, Freshens Smoothies, Green Mountain Coffee, and freshly baked goods from the campuses in-house bakers.

The Coop features brick-oven pizza, sautéed pastas, hot loafer sandwiches, freshly prepared soups and salads, the Mongolian wok, and your favorite hot-off-the grill items.

In addition to these options, we also feature a large selection of fresh fruit and upscale grab-and go wraps, sandwiches and salads. A participant using a meal access at the Coop can eat an amount of food equivalent to one meal.

Each meal at the Coop is valued as follows:
• Breakfast $4.85, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
• Lunch $7.80, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Dinner $9.50, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
• Late Night $7.80, 9 p.m. – midnight




The Café at Case Library and Geyer Center

Monday ~ Thursday, 10 a.m. ~ 12 a.m.
Friday, 10 a.m. ~ 4 p.m.
Sunday, 10 a.m. ~ 12 a.m.

Enjoy a baked scone with Starbuck’s Coffee in the Café at Case Library. Or, sip a white chocolate mocha while you study or enjoy a fresh-baked cookie while relaxing with your favorite book. The café features a full line of espresso drinks, fresh salads, sandwiches, and a variety of desserts to satisfy any appetite

Donovan's Pub

Monday ~ Friday, 6:00 p.m. ~ 11:00 p.m.

There is a little something for everyone at this campus social hotspot! The high-quality Irish pub-style menu, in combination with a rich beer selection, makes for a great pub environment. The pub also offers regular evening programming throughout each semester.
