The NSO group manages Colgate's entire data infrastructure and network, and in so doing, provides access and support for many services. Among these services are Internet access, Email, Wireless, File Sharing, Network Storage, Network Printing, Security, Antivirus, and Virtual Private Network (VPN). Network Systems & Operations provides a secure, robust, reliable network and server environment. In 2005, the NSO team created the first wireless data environment on campus, and in the summer of 2010, an all-new campus wireless system was installed. The new (ARUBA) wireless system provides increased access, especially in the residence halls, and a simpler interface. |
