Facilities

  • Public workstations are located in the Learning Commons on the 5th floor of the library. There are multiple media work rooms with the following equipment:
    • Macintosh video and audio editing stations
    • PC image workstations
    • Flatbed and slide scanner
    • VHS players  |  MiniDV players  |  Disc duplicators  |  DV tape to DVD conversion station
  • Media suites located on the second floor of the library. This area is for use by the staff of the Digital Media Group. The staff includes Colgate students working as video journalists and interns from other institutions. The second floor suite is also the location of the office of Ray Nardelli, manager of the Digital Media Group.
  • Audio and video studios are located on the first floor of the library. The studios allow for professional audio and video recording. Use of the studios can be arranged by making an appointment with either Ray Nardelli (x6793) or Rich Grant (x7728)
