COLGATE RECRUITING

On-campus Recruiting (OCR) – Provides entry-level and internship interviewing opportunities and information sessions. Includes a résumé collect for employers that do not conduct campus recruiting visits. Please view our Supplement for students studying abroad if you will be off-campus when employers recruit. 

Off-campus Recruiting Program – Internship and Job opportunities for students to interview with organizations from the host cities or specified career areas. Liberal Arts Career Network (LACN) and Nationwide Internship Consortium (NIC) is now available on naviGATE - Internship and post-graduate internship postings targeted to students at 48 leading liberal arts colleges and universities.

Career Services Funding for Summer Internships – Generous alumni have established funds to support summer learning opportunities.  Each fund focuses a specific class year and/or career field of interest.

Colgate on the Cuyahoga – A unique initiative designed to bring 10-15 Colgate undergraduates to Cleveland each summer for challenging internships, civic engagement, alumni connections, and social events to introduce them to the professional, civic, and personal offerings in Northeast Ohio. Sponsored by the Colgate Club of Cleveland.

Internship Credit Program - Colgate’s Internship Credit Program (ICP) was established to allow access to internships that would otherwise not be available to our students due to some employers’ hiring conditions.  The ICP is Colgate’s response to ensure that students have every possible opportunity to integrate classroom learning with practical experience, and maintain a competitive edge as a candidate for post-graduate opportunities.  

Colgate Summer Undergraduate Research Program – Approximately 100 grants enabling Colgate students to pursue research during the summer. 

Upstate Institute – Provides connections between Colgate University and the surrounding communities through the research conducted by our students, staff and faculty.
