News releases
As commencement is a major milestone in your life — and is newsworthy to your home town — we encourage you to announce your accomplishments by sending a press release to your local newspaper. Download this for a sample release and instructions.
Health records
The university will maintain your health records for seven years (10 years for immunization records only). Once you are settled somewhere and you would like a summary of these records you should submit a written request and include your name, date of birth, Colgate ID and the name and address of where the records should be sent. Dr. Merrill Miller will withhold any sensitive information if you request it.
Housing keys
Your parents have received information regarding housing, activities, and the commencement schedule. Confirmation will go out the first week of May about specific housing arrangements. Seniors will pick up keys for parents at Residential Life in the week before commencement.
Indoor viewing facilities (no ticket required)
Due to limited seating in Sanford Field House, we will provide additional seating with closed circuit access to the ceremony at Little Hall in Golden Auditorium. This room will be open at 9:00 a.m. the day of the ceremony.
