Stephanie Lenhart
Office Manager
Hi, my name is Stephanie I am a local girl, I have grown up in Madison County all of my life. So if anybody has any questions about the area maybe I can answer them. I am a graduate from Morrisville State College 2007 with an Associate in Office Technology Administration. I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter named Katelyn. I enjoy watching sports and going to the Dirt Track. Also I crochet, read, watch TV and am into Country, Classic Rock, and Eighties music. My daughter takes up much of my time with dance and sports, but I enjoy keeping her busy and active because it keeps me busy. So far I am really enjoying working here at Colgate and I look forward to what the semester has to bring.
Elise Bronzo '10
Programming Outreach Coordinator
Hey all! Hailing from White Plains, NY-- this is my first year on staff. I recently graduated from Colgate in May 2010 with a major in Sociology and Anthropology and a minor in Film & Media Studies. While at Colgate I held various leadership positions with student groups including We Funk, INC., CUTV, Link Staff, and was a tour guide for admissions, among many other ventures. I served on the Division I Women’s Basketball team at Colgate during my freshman and sophomore years as well. I love film, food, cooking, sports, exercise, traveling, my family and anything that breeds competition. I love a good challenge. I am excited to meet new people, hear their stories, and learn through personal exchange. If you do not know me from my undergraduate years, please do feel free to reach out—it’s always great to see a new face. My e-mail is ebronzo@colgate.edu.
Student Ambassadors
| Alex Restrepo '12 Hey there everyone, my name is Alex Restrepo and I'm a southern California kid who relocated in Hamilton,NY. I am going into my Senior year as a History major and Economics minor, I am of Colombian heritage, speak fluent Spanish (My parents only let us speak Spanish from the door in!). I plan to go straight into business - most likely finance, but after a few years I want to teach in a high school setting, and then go into educational policy. Here at Colgate in addition to being an ALANA Ambassador I am also the Senior Policy Coordinator for the SGA, the Chief (President) of Brothers, and the head coordinator for Colgate's new Zipcar service. I like to spend my free time either at Frank or the Library Cafe catching up with friends and shooting the breeze. I'm going into my fourth year working at ALANA because I enjoy meeting new people, trying new things, and encouraging others to expand their social and intellectual realms. I'm always up for new ideas so if you have one you’d like to pursue, drop by let’s chat! Also stop by and take a nap on our couches - they're super comfortable. |
Katherine Kollitides '13 Hello! My name is Katherine, but most people call me Kat. I’m an English major and hail from Long Island, NY. This will be my third year working as an Ambassador. I’m a big fan of crossword puzzles, foreign films, strong coffee and kayaking. On campus, I’m involved with WRCU, the Maroon-News and Students for Global Engagement. I’ll be spending my fall semester in London on Colgate’s English Literature Study Group. I’m looking forward to resuming my position at ALANA in the spring! |
Hayley Fager '13 My name is Hayley Fager and I am a sophomore at Colgate. After volunteering at Alana last year, I knew I wanted to be involved in the center and decided to become an ambassador. Coming from Los Angeles, CA, I have grown up with a deep appreciation for different cultures and languages and love experiencing new people and places. Aside from working at Alana, I am involved in club Ultimate Frisbee, Students for Sensible Drug Policy, and WRCU. I also love to ski and play the guitar and am looking forward to promoting multiculturalism on the Colgate campus. |
| James Speight '14 Hello my name is James Speight. I am a sophomore at Colgate University. In addition to being an Ambassador, I am involved with many student clubs and organizations on campus including: the Colgate 13, Student Government Association Senator, and Club Rugby. Last year as an ALANA Ambassador I felt that I was able to utilize my talents to promote ALANA’s mission on campus, as the center has provided me with another facet in which to spread cultural knowledge and unity across traditional boundaries. Make sure to come to the ALANA’s Events throughout the year, you’ll enjoy yourself and maybe learn something new while you’re there. |
| Danielle Bynoe ‘14 Hi everyone, my name is Danny, I’m a sophomore, and this is my second year as an ALANA ambassador. This position is great because it allows me to explore some of my hobbies, which include learning about different cultures, and planning events. I love being part of this community and am grateful to continue this job in September. What I love most about ALANA is that it attracts intellectually curious minds and people regularly engage in thought-provoking dialogue. Being part of this community has truly allowed me to develop and expand my beliefs. I’m super excited to get this year started! |
| Sicong "Ivy" Ke '14 Hi everyone! My name is Sicong Ke but I also go by Ivy. I come from Beijing, China, which is pretty far away from Hamilton, NY. I'm a sophomore thinking of major in mathematical economics and computer science. I consider myself as a traveler and my dream is to speak six languages fluently before I'm 30, so it will be easier for me to travel around the world (well, another dream I guess). I'm an active member of several clubs and organizations on campus. As a new ALANA Ambassador, I'm really excited to join the crew. I had tons of fun here last year, and I hope you'll come and enjoy yourself here too!. |
