The cashier's window is open Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. unless otherwise posted. Summer hours are 11 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. It is located on the ground floor of James B. Colgate Hall.

Check cashing service
Check cashing hours are 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday in the accounting office.
- You will need to present your Colgate identification in order to cash a check
- The dollar limit per day is $100 for personal checks for students

Third party checks will not be cashed
The cashier’s window accepts the following:
- Cash
- Personal check
- MasterCard (for fines only)
- VISA (for fines only)
- Discover (for fines only)
Policies - The cash limit for each transaction at the cashier’s window is $350. Individuals should present their ID card (usually Colgate picture ID is required).
- Credit card payments are accepted for fine payments only.
- There is a $15 service charge for each returned check, in addition to any bank charges.
