Do your laundry, dine on campus, or shop downtown. The ’Gate Card is more than your school ID.

What a ’Gate Card Can Do

Purchases:
Use your 'Gate Card for purchases at the Bookstore, C-Store, Coop, and mailroom, as well as vending and laundry machines, library copiers, and participating area merchants.

Meal Plans:
Present your 'Gate Card for entry into all campus dining halls. Review available meal plans.

Key:
Several buildings on campus are kept secure by requiring you to swipe your 'Gate Card at the door.

Declining Balance Account

Deposit money into your account in a variety of ways:

Colgate University payroll deductions.
Log into the 'Gate Card website.
Use the Value Deposit Terminals located at O'Connor and Case Library (cash only).
Bring or mail your deposit to the Accounting Office (located in the James B. Colgate building).

'Gate Card Care

Don't tamper with the picture or information on the card.
Keep your card away from magnets, computers, and cell phones.
Keep the card away from excessive heat.
Bending, scratching, or punching holes in the card may render it unreadable.
Don't put the card through the washing machine.
Above all, do not lose your card, as the encoded information is yours alone.

Saturday–Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Accounting and Control
Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Summer hours: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cashier's Window
Monday–Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
