Interests

I am an interdisciplinary scholar of Environmental Studies with disciplinary grounding in critical human geography. I emphasize postcolonial, feminist, critical race, Marxist, and intersectional perspectives in my teaching and scholarship.

Research interests: Social/political dimensions of climate change, conservation and development challenges in South Asia; anti-toxics movements in the US.

Teaching interests: Environment and Development, Environmental Justice, Political Ecology, Global Environmental Politics, Qualitative Research Methods.
