Tony Bates

Tony Bates:
Executive VP, Microsoft

Tony Bates, former executive VP of Microsoft’s Business Development and Evangelism group, was responsible for the company’s relationships with key hardware, software, and innovation partners. He also led Microsoft’s corporate strategy team. Before joining Microsoft, Bates was the CEO of Skype, a senior vice president and general manager at Cisco, an executive at Internet MCI, and a member of the board of YouTube and LoveFilm. He also holds 10 patents in the area of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network innovations.

Brian Chesky

Brian Chesky:
Co-founder and CEO, Airbnb

Brian Chesky drives Airbnb’s vision, strategy, and growth. Under Brian’s leadership, Airbnb stands at the forefront of the sharing economy, providing interesting and unique ways for people to travel. The company has expanded to offer more than 600,000 listings in 192 countries. Brian holds a bachelor of fine arts in industrial design from the Rhode Island School of Design.

David Faber

David Faber:
CNBC anchor/producer

David Faber is an award-winning journalist and New York Times best-selling author, a co-anchor of CNBC’s Squawk on the Street, and an anchor and co-producer of CNBC original documentaries and long-form programming. During his 20 years with CNBC, Faber has broken many big financial stories, including the massive fraud at WorldCom, the bailout of the hedge fund Long Term Capital Management, and Rupert Murdoch’s unsolicited bid for Dow Jones. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Tufts University.

Actor/producer, co-founder of Katalyst

Ashton Kutcher was named one of Time magazine’s “Top 100 Most Influential People” in 2010 and is driving a radical shift in the way content is created and consumed. His company, Katalyst, has brought us films like The Butterfly Effect, hit television series like Punk’d, and digital media programming for brands like Levi’s, Nikon, and Intel. In 2010, Katalyst was named one of the year’s Top 50 Most Inspiring Innovators by Ad Age and one of Fast Company magazine’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies.

Daniel Rosensweig P'15 '17

Daniel Rosensweig P’15’17:
President and CEO, Chegg

Daniel Rosensweig is CEO of the online textbook company Chegg. Prior to 2010, he served as Guitar Hero CEO, Yahoo! COO, and ZDNet’s President and CEO. He currently sits on Colgate’s Board of Trustees as well as the Board of Directors of Rent the Runway, Adobe Systems, Inc., and Reputation.com. He participates on the DonorsChoose.org advisory board and contributes to the Executives in Residence program at Columbia University. Rosensweig received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Hobart and William Smith College.

John Donahoe:
President and CEO, eBay

John Donahoe has been President and CEO of eBay Inc. since March 31, 2008. Under John's leadership, the company has become a global commerce platform and payments leader, with revenue in 2013 of more than $16 billion. Across its eBay, PayPal and eBay Enterprise platforms, the company enabled $212 billion of commerce in 2013. The company also is a mobile commerce leader, with eBay mobile commerce volume of $22 billion in 2013, and PayPal mobile payments volume of $27 billion. The company is focused on enabling commerce as a partner — not a competitor — to sellers of all sizes, from entrepreneurs and small businesses, to global brands and retailers.
