Steven Bertoni is a senior editor at Forbes Media, where he covers technology, entrepreneurs, venture capital, and the Forbes Under 30 franchise. He graduated from Colgate in 2002, earning a BA in international relations and creative writing.


Tyler Haney

CEO, Outdoor Voices
Tyler Haney is the founder and CEO of Outdoor Voices, a lifestyle brand that makes technical apparel for recreation. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Tyler grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where well-being revolves around spending time outdoors and casual activity is naturally integrated into everyday life. With Outdoor Voices, she set out build the next great activewear brand — one that embodies that same relaxed approach to fitness. In 2016, Tyler was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 entrepreneurs, and Outdoor Voices was named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies (Style).


Jon McNeill

President, Global Sales and Service at Tesla Motors
Jon McNeill serves as Tesla’s president of global sales, service, and delivery, overseeing all customer-facing operations. Prior to Tesla, he was the CEO and founder of multiple software, manufacturing, and automotive companies. Fast Company magazine named him one of the 10 most innovative CEOs in the U.S. In 2012, Jon was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® and in 2013 he was named "Most Admired CEO" by the Boston Business Journal. Jon began his career at Bain & Company. He is a graduate of Northwestern University.


Peter Boyce - Moderator

Venture @ General Catalyst Partners + Rough Draft Ventures
Peter Boyce is an investor at General Catalyst Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm. He also co-founded and manages Rough Draft Ventures, an initiative to encourage more entrepreneurship on college campuses. Peter is a graduate of Harvard University, earning a BA in applied mathematics and a secondary degree in computer science.


Payal Kadakia

Payal Kadakia, CEO and Co-founder, ClassPass
CEO and Co-founder, ClassPass
Payal Kadakia is the CEO and co-founder of ClassPass, a monthly membership program that provides people unlimited access to fitness classes and gyms across the U.S. and internationally. Since its launch in 2013, ClassPass has facilitated nearly 15 million reservations across 8,000 studios in 39 cities globally. Payal is also the founder and artistic director of The Sa Dance Company, which was founded in 2009 with the mission to increase awareness of Indian dance in the mainstream and serve as a platform for expressing the Indian-American identity through movement. Payal previously worked as a consultant at Bain & Company and holds a degree in operations research from MIT.


Clare MacGoey

Clare is the CFO of Giphy. Giphy is building the worlds largest GIF search engine and redefining how people search, discover and share GIF’s. Since launching in 2013, Giphy has grown to over 150 million unique visitors globally and now serves billions of GIF’s each month. In 2005 Clare co-founded a retail brand Boudiche in the UK, awarded Best Lingerie Retailer (UK) in 2007 & 2009. Clare was named Scottish Businesswoman of the year in 2010 and listed in the Young Guns Class of 2008, a list of the 30 most promising young entrepreneurs under 35 who have disrupted markets and innovated British enterprise. A Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA), before joining Giphy, Clare worked as CFO for a number of startups including PetFlow and Paddle8.

John Levisay ’89 – CEO, Sympoz/Craftsy

John Levisay, CEO, Sympoz (dba Craftsy)

John is the Co-founder and CEO of Craftsy. He led the company through multiple funding rounds ($100M raised) and has overseen growth from 4 employees to over 250 employees in just five (5) years. In that time, Craftsy has gone from an idea on how to change education and entertainment to a fast-growing media, ecommerce, and technology company.

Prior to co-founding Craftsy in 2011, John held executive roles at eBay and servicemagic.com. He joined eBay in 1999, as head of Strategy & BD for eBay Motors, helping grow it into a $14 billion a year global business. John later ran the Business, Photo, and Music categories on eBay and served as CEO of Kruse International, a 100-employee subsidiary of eBay Motors.

Prior to eBay, John spent 6 years at General Electric, graduating from GE’s Financial Management program and Corporate Audit Staff. John received his MBA from The University of Michigan and his BA from Colgate University, where he graduated with honors in History.

He graduated from Colgate University, where he was captain of the lacrosse team.
