Myra Guevara '10
Myra Guevara is Women's Studies and Sociology double major. She is involved in the Latin American Student Association, Sisters of the Round Table, as well as Residential Life. She is very interested in the production and reproduction of social constructs and how that affects interactions between students on campus. While at Colgate Myra has been able to participate in the San Francisco Study Group and she is also going to the Western Australia Extended study in May 2009. Myra hopes to be able to attend the Peace Corp after graduation as well as pursue a Masters in Public Health. She also has aspirations to go to medical school soon after that. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, reading, and enjoying the sun (which is non-existent during the Spring semesters).

Eugene Riordan '11 is a sophomore planning on majoring in International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies. Some of the things that he is involved with on campus are the Club Curling Team, Ballroom Dancing club, WRCU, and the Pep Band. Originally from Montana, the cold Hamilton winters don’t bother him too much, and he enjoys skiing, playing the saxophone, watching Lost and Ugly Betty, and jogging on the cross country trails behind campus. Eugene will be one of the first to tell you how much he likes it here at Colgate, and is happy and grateful for such a tight-knit and supportive LGBTQ community on campus.

Curry Knox ’09 resides in Seattle Washington, concentrating in English and Creative writing. She runs Track for the Colgate Women’s Track and Field program and also works a student Assistant at Cooley Science Library. Her interests include sports, cooking, and watching movies.

Nolis Espinal '11, originally from Boston, MA, is a Japanese major, English minor, and is also pre-medicine. He figure skates competitively with the Colgate Figure Skating Club in the Northeast Region, and his hobbies are reading poetry and finding new things about Japan he never knew before. Nolis is involved in a variety of different clubs at Colgate, such as LASO, CFSC, and Japan Club. He currently works as a Monitor for Recreational Sports, as well as a Student Research Assistant in the Biology Department.
