The Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics comprises departments and faculty of national repute. The academic departments within the division are:
The division is the home for the neuroscience program and the Health Sciences Advising Committee, which supports students interested in careers in the health professions. The division is also closely integrated with the environmental studies program.
Scott Kraly, Charles A. Dana Professor of Psychology, is Division Director and the Administrative Assistant to the division is Diane Janney.
The division sponsors a weekly science colloquium and provides extensive student research opportunities during both the academic year and the summer. The division also works closely with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Harvey M. Picker Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies in the Sciences and Mathematics to help provide research funding opportunities for faculty and students.
