Funding for Scholarly Symposia, Workshops and Conferences
Faculty members or groups of faculty may also propose to organize a scholarly symposium, conference, or workshop that addresses issues concerning or related to the upstate New York region. The symposium, or an appropriate portion of the proceedings, should be open to the campus and to the general public, and be scheduled during the upcoming academic year. The Upstate Institute is normally able to contribute up to $2,500 towards the costs of a conference.
The application for funding for symposia or workshops from the Upstate Institute can be found here and is due to the Upstate Institute by January 26, 2019.
