"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."
-John Quincy Adams
A cohort of first and second-year students will be selected during the Fall semester to serve as Leadership Consultants. These students will undergo extensive training through six Leadership Workshops, where they will collaborate with each other and faculty and alumni mentors to problem-solve.
The goal of the Leadership Consultant program is to produce a renewable source of dedicated, motivated, and capable students who can use what they have learned to help play a more integral role in the Institute itself.
At the Fox Leadership Institute, we believe that leadership is about behavior, and not only about holding the highest positions in campus organizations or a seat on an executive board. Therefore, we strive to prepare students to act upon their leadership skills whenever a situation arises and they are needed.
Following the completion of the program, the Leadership Consultants will act as mentors on campus and will also help design the programming for the next year's Institute. In addition to being responsible for shaping the following year's retreats and workshops, they will also be in charge of selecting the next class of Leadership Consultants.
(All workshops meet 11:30am-1:00pm and are required for successful completion of the program)
