In recent years, diversity of our student body, faculty, and staff has grown ethnically and culturally, as well as geographically and socioeconomically. Colgate provides an environment where students can appreciate, celebrate, and learn about their own cultures as well as those of the people around them. The Class of 2015 is one of our most academically accomplished yet, with a wide array of extracurricular involvements. Aside from these strong characteristics, this is one of our most diverse classes ever, with 25.4 percent of students claiming a multicultural background and 7.9 percent international students.
