Colgate offers the Early Decision I and II options for those candidates who have identified the university as their first choice. Both Early Decision options are binding programs; Early Decision indicates the student's decision to withdraw all other applications and attend Colgate if admitted.
Early Decision I (binding):
Applications must be postmarked by November 15.
Decisions are mailed in mid-December.
Early Decision II (binding):
Applications must be postmarked by January 15.
Decisions are made within four weeks of completion of the application.
Regular decision candidates may convert to ED II by filing an Early Decision
Agreement prior to March 1.

$60 application fee – The application fee is waived for students whose permanent mailing address is outside the U.S. Additionally, Colgate accepts official fee waivers from the College Board, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and Expanding College Opportunities.

If applying for financial aid in Option I, complete the PROFILE by November 15, 2011. For Option II, complete the process no later than January 15, 2012.
