Emily Thigpen, assistant dean of admission, is based in the Washington, D.C. metro area as Colgate's Mid-Atlantic Regional Representative. Emily recruits and reads applications as if she were located on campus, but is accessible to prospective students in Washington D.C., Maryland
(with the exception of Baltimore
), Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Prospective students
