Colgate contracts with a service to submit your portfolio online at http://colgate.slideroom.com. The cost to applicants is $5.00.

Alternatively,we accept either slides, digital image or print portfolios. Maximum images submitted should not exceed 20. 

Please include:

A. Typed slide/CD list. For each work include:

1. Title, date, size, material

2. Brief statement about the piece including whether or not it is an assignment.

B. A brief artist statement not to exceed one typed page.

1. Describe your past experiences with the visual arts including classes taken, dates and media used.
2. Of the documentation submitted which piece best represents you as an artist and why (include motivation behind this work and/or art in general)?
3. Describe your plans for the study of art at Colgate.
