Colgate students can choose from among 52 majors. Our departments and programs (see list at left) span the divisions of humanities, natural sciences and mathematics, social sciences, and university studies.
In each, students have many opportunities to study abroad. They also can participate directly with faculty in a variety of projects that include senior research tutorials, independent studies, honors projects, summer field trips, and student-initiated research.
