A study of the following types of functions, their properties, and their graphs: polynomials, rational functions, trigonometic, exponential, and logarithmic functions. This 0.25-credit course is intended for students whose background in mathematics may be deficient. Its objective is to lay a foundation for the study of calculus and concurrent enrollment is MATH 111 is required. Prerequisite: permission of the instructor. Offered in the fall only.
