This course explores mathematics as it is applied to the physical sciences. Mathematical topics may include boundary value problems, partial differential equations, special functions, Fourier series and transforms, Green's functions, and approximate solution methods. Prerequisite: MATH 113 and MATH 308 or permission of instructor. Offered in the spring only, in alternate years.
