Although we certainly hope that faculty will encourage students to visit the writing and speaking center, we advise against making such visits mandatory or punitive. If, however, you require that a student visit us, we ask that you fill out a referral form and give it to the student. The student will give us the referral form, and we will mail it back to you acknowledging that the student visited us. The details of all sessions are confidential.
