Center for Learning, Teaching, and Research

The center is dedicated to enhancing learning and teaching in support of the liberal arts and serves as a campus-wide clearinghouse for information and consultation concerning the development of academic skills and competencies that support high achievement.

One of the center's top priorities is helping students see connections between what they need and what the center offers. Faculty and staff are critical in helping students make that connection and in providing a pathway to the center and all it offers.

Once that connection is made, students will be able to utilize resources such as:
  • Academic advising, including general and particular advising services
  • Instruction in learning strategies and study skills
  • Time management and organization assistance
  • Professional and peer tutoring
  • Spring 2012 Tutoring Opportunties PDF
  • Peer Tutor Request Form
  • Study skills
