Interactive Colgate

Learn about what's happening on campus and stay connected 24/7 through these features:

Interactive screensaver
Download our screensaver on your home and workplace computers. Each time you connect to the Internet, the screensaver will update with the most recent university news stories.

New photos also will be automatically uploaded, so your screensaver is constantly changing as it keep you connected to Colgate.

Webcams

Several webcams provide live streaming images from around campus. You can see students coming and going from the O'Connor Campus Center (the Coop) and broader views of the Academic Quad, Drake and Curtis residence halls, and Case-Geyer Library and Taylor Lake.

Blogs
first-year First-year student Marilyn Hernandez-Stopp (left) writes about her experiences each week as she discovers new things about living and studying at Colgate. Her blog is called First-Year Reflections.

Members of the Office of Admission also are bloggers, sharing information about the office and offering tips about the college application process on the Inside the 'gate blog.

Podcasts

Listen to our professors talk about their research projects and how students work with them, often co-authoring papers. Alumni also are featured, including Kathryn Bertine '97, athlete, ESPN contributor, and author of As Good as Gold.

Listen to the interviews on our Colgate Conversations page or visit the university's iTunes U page .

Photo galleries
We update our flickr photo galleries every month with the latest and greatest images from around campus. See our students and faculty members in action and see some of the great events they participate in.

Video features

A team of student videographers and digital media manager Ray Nardelli, working with the Office of Public Relations and Communications, capture video and transform it into engaging clips that give everyone a great way to experience the energy of campus.
