Trudy Background

Thanks to generous gifts from Colgate parents and alumni, the state-of-the-art Trudy Fitness Center now is available to members of the campus and local communities.  The fitness center is both beautiful and functional, providing a common space for exercise and wellness-related activity.

The Trudy center received a gold LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, recognizing the building for its green technology and energy efficiency.

The center officially opened on Jan. 31, 2011. At nearly 15,000 square feet, the center has ample space for cardio machines on one floor and weight training equipment on another floor.

Huntington Gymnasium

The Angert Family Climbing Wall

Huntington Gymnasium is home to many of our club and intramural programs, and students, faculty, and staff often visit The Cage to take out basketball, racquetball, and other sports equipment.

The gym has basketball, volleyball, squash, and racquetball courts. The Angert Family Climbing Wall is a modern facility with frequently updated routes. It features quality equipment, including new flooring, crash pads, and holds.
