Colgate students can choose from among 51 majors. Our departments and programs (see list at left) span the disciplines of humanities, natural sciences and mathematics, social sciences, and university studies (interdisciplinary programs).
In each, students have many opportunities to study abroad. They also can participate directly with faculty in a variety of projects that include senior research tutorials, independent studies, honors projects, summer field trips, and student-initiated research.
