The Common Application is the only way to apply to Colgate University for first-year admission. The Common Application, which Colgate uses as its own application, is available starting in mid-summer on both the Colgate website and at www.commonapp.org. The $55 application fee is waived for applications submitted online.
Students may also obtain the Common Application from:
- downloading the application and supplement at the link below
- secondary school guidance offices
- Common Application website
For your convenience, we have assembled a number of links to companies that are helpful in the application process.
If you have decided to download the Colgate Application on this site, you will need to print out the forms and fill them out as you would any paper based application.
These forms can be downloaded, viewed, and printed on any computer with Adobe Acrobat Reader. However, they cannot be filled in on your computer, only printed. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, click on the Adobe icon to download the program prior to downloading the Colgate application.
