Brick Academy
Built in 1820 at the corner of Broad and West Pleasant Streets. Shared with Hamilton Academy and district school from 1820-1823.
Stone Academy
Built in 1823 on Hamilton Street. David Hascall oversaw its construction.
Cottage Edifice
Built in 1827 by David Hascall. It was used as a boarding hall until it was razed in 1860 to make way for Alumni Hall.
Boarding Hall
Built in 1836 on Broad Street near Huntington Gymnasium's current location. In 1840, it was fitted for class rooms and a dormitory and destroyed by fire in 1879.
Eaton House (Woodland Height)
Built in 1836 by the Baptist Education Society for George Washington Eaton, it was razed in 1884 to make way for Eaton Hall for the theological seminary. Eaton Hall was torn down in 1956 to make way for Kendrick-Eaton-Dodge.
President's House (old)
Built in 1833, it was purchased by the University in 1868, used briefly by Beta Theta Pi, and then razed in 1899 to make way for new President's house.
Gymnasium (old)
Built in 1894 and destroyed by fire in 1926.
William Colgate Memorial Hall (Colgate Academy, Administration Building)
Built in 1874, became the administration building in 1912, and destroyed by fire in 1963.
Taylor Hall
Built in 1840 by Professor Stephen W. Taylor. It was purchased by the University in 1891 and refitted for 4 Colgate fraternities. It became the YMCA student center in 1912, later the campus post office, and eventually the Faculty Club in 1937. It was razed in 1971.
