Colgate and the Economy

The university has taken significant steps to mitigate the impact of the global economic downturn while vigorously building on its position as a leading liberal arts institution.

An Economic Environment Working Group (EEG) was formed to examine ways to strategically realign the university's operating budget. The group continues to meet with members of the campus community to solicit ideas and is formulating a report.
