Hiring of a new systems biologist
The departments of biology and mathematics are conducting a search for a systems biologist to fill a joint tenure-stream position. Systems biology is the study of complex networks of interactions occurring within and between living organisms. Systems biologists use large data sets to gain insights into functional relationships among components of complex systems and to generate mathematical models that predict how a particular biological system will respond to a specific environmental perturbation.
