The Economic Environment Working Group (EEG) is charged with identifying scenarios for strategic realignment of Colgate’s operating budget as a result of the economic downturn and investment losses sustained by the university’s endowment since the summer of 2008. This site provides budget and planning information to the Colgate community, and information about the broader impacts of the economic downturn on higher education. The EEG will regularly post updates here to inform community members of its progress.
We invite Colgate faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members to offer suggestions and insight to the EEG throughout this process. Input is welcome at any time and can be shared by filling out one of the following forms:
