Wellness Initiative

The Wellness Initiative was conceived by former Dean of the College Adam Weinberg in 2004. The initiative took a major step forward in 2006 after a generous endowed gift by Jay '76 and Debi Shaw.

In 2008, after a very successful 2007-08 year, the Wellness Initiative hired a Program Assistant, marking the first staff member to be dedicated entirely to the inititiave. Another generous gift in 2008, by alumnus and trustee Janet Sherlund '77, has enabled the initiative to hire students to broaden the scope of its reach.
