Welcome message from Lynn Waldman, director of Academic Support and Disability Services

College life is all about tough choices

To help you meet and not become overwhelmed by these challenges, various advising and consulting services are available and targeted to meet your needs at this time of your life. Another piece of good news is that unlike in the private sector where the cost of such services can be prohibitive, our services are available free of charge.

Someone once said that “to fall through the cracks at Colgate, you would have to throw yourself into one.” In other words, there are so many people at Colgate who are available and willing to advise students that no student should be left behind.

We want to be sure you know who those people are, what they do, how you can contact them, beginning with your academic/faculty adviser and your dean/administrative adviser.
